The City of Gainesville Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs announce the opening of the Sweetwater Print Cooperative exhibition which will run from May 23 - July 12, 2009 in the Thomas Center Mezzanine Gallery. A free public reception will be held Thursday, June 18, 2009 from 5 - 7PM.  

The art exhibition includes 10 artists and over 50 works in a variety of media.  Exhibiting artists include:  Valarie Aslakson-Jennings, Nicola Barsaleau, Joanna Clark, Kana Handel, Sue Jester, Cindy Pagel, Leslie Peebles, Stewart Thomas, Vasanto and Pat Wolfe.

The Thomas Center Galleries are located at 302 NE 6th Ave. Gainesville, FL 32601. Gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Tuesday from 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM and Saturday from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. The galleries are closed Sundays and for observed holidays.
