Can you purchase tickets at the gate?
Yes, tickets can be purchased at the gate.

Can tickets be purchased in advance?
Yes, tickets may be purchased online for a small service fee. Tickets may also be purchased at no additional fee at either Gainesville Domino’s pizza stores or at the Thomas Center in historic downtown Gainesville on the third floor. General admission tickets may not be purchased in advanced for Friday, January 30, unless you are a school or homeschool pre-registering in advance.

What are the ticket prices?
Weekend tickets are $17 for adults and $7 for children ages 5-17. On Friday, January 30, ticket prices for general admission are reduced: admission for adults is $8 and for students is $3.50. Schools and homeschools may pre-register in advance for Friday School Day at $5 for adults and chaperones and $2 for students.

Are there any special discounts?
Dollar-off coupons are available at the Subway stores in Gainesville and at the Thomas Center. General admission tickets are only discounted on Friday, January 30, and the dollar-off coupons may not be used on Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, discounts of any type are not accepted, including college students, military, senior citizens, AAA, etc.

Is there a fee for parking?
Parking is free.

What are the hours?
The hours are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The hours on Friday are 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. We suggest that you arrive early to avoid parking issues, traffic delays and long lines. Tickets will go on sale 30 minutes before the gate opens. In addition, there will be a morning show that will take place 15 minutes prior to the start of the Faire.

Where is the Faire located?
The Alachua County Fairgrounds is located at 2900 NE 39th Avenue, west of the Gainesville Regional Airport. If you are coming from I-75, take exit 390 and head east. Follow signs to the Gainesville Regional Airport.

Are credit cards accepted?
Credit cards can be used to purchase tickets. Only some vendors accept credit cards at their booths. We suggest you bring cash for food, rides, games and vendors.

How much money should I bring?
Vendors will be selling meals at prices ranging from $8 to $10, and individual items such as soft drinks, ice cream, funnel cakes, hot dogs, etc., will be sold at about $5. Merchants will be selling goods such as waxed and metal roses, jewelry, hats, toy swords and much more. The average price for rides and games, such as camel, elephant and pony rides varies from $2 to $5.

What are the elephant and camel ride prices?
Elephant and camel rides are $5 per person.

Is there an ATM machine?
There are four ATMs on site located at the front and back gate, across from the Information Booth and at the food court by the Beer Booth.

Are pets permitted?
Pets are not permitted with the exception of service animals.

Is the site handicap accessible?
The site is primarily handicap accessible. However, the food court and jousting arena are located in a grassy area at the west end of the Faire.

What is the weather policy?
The Faire will take place rain or shine.

Can you re-enter on the same day?
To re-enter on the same day, you must get your hand stamped by one of the Faire volunteers before leaving the fairgrounds.

What is your weapons policy?
Weapons are permitted and must be piece-tied.

Can you bring food and drinks in?
Yes, you may bring food and drinks in.

Are there stroller or wheelchair rentals?
No, there are no stroller or wheelchair rentals.

Is there beer sold at the Faire?
Yes, there are two places that sell beer: one is at the front of the Faire near the Information Booth, and the other is located at the beginning of the food court.

Friday, January 30, from 9:30–3
